Meet Lorah Joe

Lorah Joe of Burbank, C.A. is the woman who attended her prom with none other than VA journalists killer Vester Flanagan.

Before taking his life, Flanagan uploaded explicit footage to his social media accounts after he filmed the attack he made against Parker and Ward, using a GoPro camera.

Many have reacted at Flanagan’s senseless shooting as the news broke, one of them is Mrs. Lorah Joe, who gave an interview to ABC7 saying she was sick to her stomach to find out what her junior prom date had done. Mrs. Joe revealed:

“It almost feels a bit numbing because you don’t think this would ever happen,”

She also says she knew him as a friendly, always laughing and joking around kind of person. She said

“shy gentleman” and “a different person than the person that we know today.”

According to online records 41-year-old Lorah Joe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

A representative for Flanagan’s family has also apologized for the on-air murders saying:

“It is with heavy hearts and deep sadness we express our deepest condolences to the families of Alison Parker and Adam Ward. “We are praying for the recovery of Vicki Gardner. Our thoughts and prayers at this time are with the victims’ families and the WDBJ television station family.”
