Model Ireland Baldwin, daughter of Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, is dating professional stand up paddle surfer Slater Trout. The couple has been together since late last year, and have even exchanged promise rings, according to Slater’s Twitter page.
The couple had been apart but reunited on Wednesday when he arrived to Los Angeles from Maui. 17-year-old Ireland posted a series of pictures of herself and her boyfriend. One of the pictures captioned
‘I missed you @slatertrout,’ and another has the message, ‘Back with babe,’ followed by a heart. This is the first time the model has uploaded pics of the couple together all at once.
Ireland and Slater attended the Coachella music festival in the California desert this weekend. On April 9, she tweeted:
“Coachella with noooobody but the babe,” to which Slater replied, “just you and I about to have the best weekend of our lives”.
16-year-old Slater Trout is known within the industry as the future of Stand Up Paddling, a true ambassador, and a positive representation of the sport, according to his website. He has competed and succeeded against athletes double his age. The 6’2” tall Slater spends his time both in the gym and in the water to give his best performances.
According to his Facebook page, Slater interests are:

The surfer is originally from Florida, and he learned to surf on the Gulf Coast in his early years. Now he lives in Maui, Hawaii. He loves being in the water, practicing also SUPing, Surfing, Tow Surfing, Outrigger Canoe, but his real passion is Stand Up:
”There is something about standing on water that does it for me. The view is different. The fact that you have to use your total body all the time to maintain balance makes it unique, and most importantly the people. I have met some of the coolest people from all walks of life, young and old. It’s a sport that anyone can gravitate to.”
