Alberto Quintero is the boyfriend of former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, who was once called “Miss Piggy” by presidential Republican nominee, Donald Trump.

The Venezuelan native, now 39, was crowned the winner of the Miss Universe pageant exactly 20-years ago. It’s also the exact amount of time she has been waiting to take a punch back at Donald Trump.

In 1996, the then 19-year-old was traumatized by Trump, who had recently bought the Miss Universe pageant. Machado revealed in an interview, the Manhattan mogul shamed her about gaining weight, calling her things like “Miss Piggy” and “an eating machine.”

Further more Trump put her to a public ordeal by taking her to a NY gym that was filled with dozens of cameramen, ready to film her exercising. Trump loved the spectacle but the young Machado was devastated inside.

As a result Alicia who had never suffered from eating disorders, began struggling with anorexia and bulimia. It took her years to be fully recover and even longer to finally speak about it.

After all these years, someone finally stood up for the beauty queen, TV host and actress. It was Hillary Clinton, who told Trump during the debate, Alicia is now a U.S. citizen and that she will be voting this November.

Despite all, Alicia Machado is now a woman who is proud of herself. She is also a successful businesswoman, with a line of products bearing her name. And she is the proud mother of a seven-year-old girl.

Another important person in her life, would be her beau, Alberto Quintero. Alicia and Quintero have been dating since 2013.

The couple was first spotted when they were out in about celebrating Machado’s 37th birthday. Alberto Quintero who is seven-years her junior, is a Venezuelan model and actor.

Accoridng to social media, the hunky Alberto Quintero is also a producer. He began his acting career doing soap operas in 1998. He later moved to TV roles in a number of TV series. He’s also had a few credits in films.

He currently lives between Miami and LA, where Alicia is based.
