First seen together in October 2016, at a Kings of Leon concert, becoming pretty much inseparable after that. Prior to his relationship with Zoe, Karl revealed he experienced an intense break-up a few years ago and in order to heal he flew to France where he ended up meeting a girl who introduced him to Argentine-French film director Gaspar Noé –whom later cast him on the film, Love.
