Garrett Yrigoyen is a TV personality best known for appearing on Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette.

The hunky fella has been described by several outlets as a frontrunner, however Yrigoyen is under fire after reports surfaced of him liking numerous controversial social media posts. Yrigoyen who deleted his Instagram account, actually went on to like posts that mock undocumented immigrants, the Trans’ community, liberal feminists and Parkland, Fla.

Other than that, Garrett seems like a perfectly regular guy until you learn he is a clueless insensitive man. Moving on, he is a medical sales rep from Nevada. Spoiler reports of Becca’s season also suggest Garrett is a serious contender on the season, and Becca has already announced she is engaged to the winner.

You may remember Becca as the actual winner on Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season of The Bachelor. The racecar driver went onto proposed to Becca Kufrin before breaking up with her for runner-up, Lauren Burnham.

It seems from Monday’s premiere of The Bachelorette, Becca gets pretty hooked on Garrett –who eventually gets the only kiss of the night and the first impression rose. His ABC bio ‘Raised in a small town in Central California, Garrett is a true outdoorsman who loves fly fishing, hiking and snowshoeing. When he’s not on an outdoor adventure, he’s perfecting his Chris Farley impression. He’s excited to find love with the Bachelorette…down by the river!’ –it’s pretty short however, we do know the 29-year-old is the son of David and Barbara Yrigoyen and that he used to be married!

Born on February 24, 1989; the surgical technology consultant grew up in Manteca, California. Growing up Garrett played baseball and also had a stint with the Wisconsin Woodchucks. While attending college at San Joaquin Delta College and later at University of Nevada, he played pitcher and infielder on the baseball teams.

He graduated from the University of Nevada with a degree in general studies, according to LinkedIn. He also dual minored in health science and communications. According to the Daily Mail, Garrett Yrigoyen tied the knot back in 2015 but called it quits just six months later.
