Her Law Firm’s overview says: Svitlana Sangary takes pride in providing the highest quality legal representation to all her clients. As an experienced and knowledgeable counselor, she will successfully navigate the legal intricacies facing each client.

Let’s say that for the part that is true, but Svitlana Sangary currently stands accused of photo shopping herself into dozens of photos with the rich and famous, including Leonardo DiCaprio and Donald Trump! She is currently an active member of The State Bar of California and can practice law, she graduated from Pepperdine University School of Law but the part about being friends with celebs and former U.S presidents, not so much.

She was admitted to the State Bar in 2004. On Yelp and legal forum, Avvo, she has received poor reviews with users calling her “scum,” an “unethical crook” and “incompetent” – mostly for excessive billing and failure to file responses and motions on time.

She is facing a six-month suspension from the California Bar after she was caught superimposing her face onto photos, a court saw the photo doctoring as intended “to confuse, deceive and mislead the public.”

And that’s not all, since she hasn’t been very cooperative with the investigation, State Bar Court Judge Donald Miles recommended she serve three years of probation! Ouch! That would definitely make her think twice about posting phony photos. Sangary was first confronted two years ago and her attitude sparked the Bar to launch an investigation in January on the false photos.

Miles says Sangary responded to the charges in a ’16-page soliloquy with little to no rational connection to the charges at hand’

That decision ultimately lies with the California Supreme Court.
