Did you happened to watch the moment where an Alaskan news anchor, declared “F* it, I quit” on air?! The irreverent moment was starred by Charlo Greene, now a former KTVA reporter!
Former KTVA reporter Charlo Greene quit her job after revealing that she is the owner of the Alaska Cannabis Club! The former news anchor turned Marijuana activist, calls herself on Twitter: “Charlo Greene the Marijuana Queen.”
Charlo quit her job in perhaps the most spectacular fashion ever seen on TV, as she revealed herself to be the owner of the Alaskan cannabis club whilst reporting on marijuana legalization during a news piece.
She waited till the very end of her reporting to give the most relevant piece of information, saying:
“As for this job, well, not that I have a choice but, f* it, I quit.”
Since her bold move, Greene then started an Indiegogo campaign for cannabis reform, writing: “I’m Charlo Greene, the president and CEO of the Alaska Cannabis Club – Alaska’s only legal medical marijuana resource.
“I just quit my news reporting job on live TV to announce that I am redirecting all of my energy toward helping to end a failed drug policy that has ruined the lives of far too many Americans.”
Alaska Cannabis Club is a medical marijuana collective organized to serve patients throughout Alaska. The website’s about section reads: We provide safe access to a wide variety of medication, including dried herbs, medibles and soon, concentrates.
Alaska Cannabis Club is Alaska’s only medical cannabis collective. Our management team has extensive experience in medical cannabis provision, grass roots activism, public education, and cannabis law reform efforts.
Alaska Cannabis Club strives to operate a dispensary that is a model of compassion and legal integrity. Alaska Cannabis Club operates in strict compliance with the letter and the spirit of Alaska’s medical cannabis laws.
Greene believes the Alaska government is failing medical marijuana cardholders and forcing to feed the black market. Not anymore. Not with introduction of the Alaska Cannabis Club.
Charlo definitely got out with a bang and got even more attention to her story. She’s got her own viral video titled “How to quit like a boss” and lots of support on her Facebook page.
