Dr. Marc Mallory
Meet Dr. Marc Mallory; he is the husband of politician Gretchen Whitmer, the Michigan governor who is likely to become Joe Biden’s pick for the Vice-president role.
Governor Whitmer and her two younger siblings grew up in Michigan. Her parents Richard and Sharon Whitmer were attorneys.
She graduated from Forest Hills Central High School; before earning her BA degree in communications from Michigan State and Juris Doctor from Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University, in 1993 and 1998, respectively.
Gretchen first won the special election to the Michigan State Senate in March 2006 and elected full term eight months later.
She won the gubernatorial race in August 2018. Her tenure started in January 2019.
Gretchen Whitmer has been married twice; her first husband Gary Shrewsbury is the father of her two children Sherry and Sydney.
In 2011, she and Dr. Marc Mallory tied the knot, like her he has children from a previous marriage, all boys for Dr. Mallory, twin sons Alex, Mason and younger son Winston, from his first marriage to Felicia Mallory.
Dr. Marc Mallory born on September 14, 1960, is a dentist in Lansing, Michigan. Dentistry runs in his family, both his dad Sam Mallory and son Mason are dentists, and his other son Winston is a dental student at the University of Michigan, while Alexander is a lawyer, he serves as attorney for McCurdy, Wotila, & Porteous, P.C.
Marc Mallory graduated from Seton High School in 1978, before receiving his bachelor of arts in Zoology from Michigan State University in 1982 and a doctor of dental surgery degree in 1986.
Furthermore, opened his dental clinic in 1990; prior to that, Dr. Mallory worked as an office gopher, dental assistant, and dental lab technician.
