Onyebuchi Awaji: LAPD Officer and The Game’s victim

Last month it was reported, Jayceon Terrell Taylor better known by his stage name The Game, punched an Off-Duty Cop During a Basketball game and today that cop is not only looking for an apology.

Onyebuchi an LAPD officer is suing The Game for that punch he threw back in March during a basketball game, the suit filed today says Awaji may have gotten his brain screwed up as a result!

It was initially reported The Game’s entourage said he acted in self defense after Awaji allegedly, threatened him verbally with a gun. Onyebuchi on his part says he did nothing to instigate the brawl.

Now Awaji says the sucker punch may have caused brain damage. To make matters worse for The Game he fled the scene as soon as he heard cops were called, TMZ reports.

The rapper’s representatives deny any wrongdoing on his part and reiterated the claim that Awaji threatened to retrieve a gun from his gym bag, which Game took as a threat on his life.

According to online records, Awaji who is of Nigerian descent is related to Obinna Awaji, Chukwuma Awaji, Chibogwa Awaji and Clement Awaji. They all live in California.
