Lyn was married to the best-selling fantasy author for 44-years and she is the mother of their only child, 38-year-old daughter Rhianna Pratchett who is also a writer.
The couple who tied the knot in 1968 lived together in the village of Broad Chalke the south of England. Their daughter is taking over the writer of her dad’s Discworld novels.
Rhianna is really her father’s daughter, she has contributed in titles such as Tomb Raider, she has been nominated for a BAFTA and in 2008 she was awarded a Writers’ Guild of Great Britain ‘Best Videogame Script’
Lyn’s popular husband was estimated to have sold 85 million books in 37 different languages. Even though he said he wanted to choose the time of his death, he bravely battled Alzheimer’s till the end and had a natural passing. He donated over $500,000 to research.
