It seems that Megalyn Echikunwoke is just Chris Rock’s girlfriend of almost one year, but not his fiancee. His rep confirmed they are indeed dating. But there is no engagement whatsoever. Chris and his now ex-wife Malaak divorced after 20 years of marriage in 2016.

“She always wears that ring. It’s 100 percent not true. Chris Rock is not engaged.”

33-year-old stunner was born Megalyn Ann Echikunwoke in Spokane, Washington on May 28, 1983, she is Igbo-Nigerian, German, Scots-Irish descent.

She has two siblings, Miki her brother and sister Misty.

She made her acting debut in the 1998 t.v mini series Creature and the Steve Harvey Show, the following year she played Lauren in the film Funny Valentines and played the role of Carmen in the 2008 film Fix.

In 2004, she appeared in That’s 70’s Show, Supernatural in 2006, the 4400, The Game and CSI: Miami in 2008. A year later she was on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, 90210, House of Lies in 2012, Made in Jersey, American Dad and Mind Games in 2014.

She played Penny in the 2015 t.v series The Following alongside Kevin Bacon and appeared in one episode of Arrow plus she plays Simone Baptiste in the new t.v series Damien.
