Hugo Clément
Hugo Clément is a French journalist and photographer who has been associated to Italian actress, Asia Argento.
Hugo and Argento were seen together recently sparking rumors that they both may be in a romantic relationship. Argento was until recently dubbed the girlfriend of late chef and TV personality, Anthony Bourdain –who committed suicide on June 8.
Rumors surrounding Bourdain’s death say the pair may had been having problems. The two dated for two years prior to his death.
Alleged new boyfriend, Hugo Clement, actually has history with Asia. The 28-year-old is the one who posted Argento’s powerful speech at the closing ceremony of the Cannes Film Festival in which she attacked Harvey Weinstein and called the annual event his ‘hunting ground.’
Clement is a journalist with Konbini news, and has done a number of well-respected pieces for the agency, most recently on the famine in Congo, the livestock industry in France and the threats facing gay men in Tunisia.
Clement was born October 7, 1989; the French native attended the University of Toulouse later joining the Lille College of Journalism. He began his career as a student in 2008. He won his first freelance contracts at La Dépêche du Midi and in 20 minutes –wining the François Chalais Prize in 2009.
He’s worked on many great reports, including tracking terrorists of the attack against Charlie Hebdo or the earthquake in Nepal in 2015. He also worked for the Petit Journal on Canal and leaves Canal + to join TMC, where he conducts this Daily since 2016 back. Alongside Valentine Oberti and Martin Weill, he covered, among other things, the US presidential election in November 2016.
Prior to Bourdain’s death, Clement and Asia were seen reunited in Rome. The pair were photographed smiling as they strolled through the Italian capital.
