Halima Jackson – Jermaine Jackson’s Wife

The life of Jermaine Jackson and his wife Halima Jackson has been sort of private for the past couple of years, but that is about to change because the Jacksons will be starring next to Daniel Baldwin  and his girlfriend Isabella Hofmann in the third season of Celebrity Wife Swap.

59-year-old Jermaine Jackson is the fourth child Katherine and randy Jackson had, his older siblings are Rebbie, Jackie, Tito and LaToya, while his younger siblings are Marlon, Michael, Randy and little Janet.

During his teenage years, Jermaine and his brothers performed in the Jackson 5, after the band split up, Jermaine continued his solo career, in March 1973his single Daddy’s Home sold more than one million copies, he released 14 albums, Jermaine his first album was released in 1972, Come Into My Life the following year, in 1976 he released a third album called Feel The Fire and Frontiers the fourth in 1978.

In 1980 Let’s get Serious and Jermaine were released followed by I Like Your Style in 1981, Let Me Tickle Your Fancy in 1982, Jermaine Jackson in 1984, Precious Moments in 1986, Don’t Take It Personal in 1989, You said in 1991 and two years ago he released his last album I Wish You Love.

Jermaine have 9 children from his two marriages and two relationships with former girlfriends. In 1973 he got married to Hazel Joy Gordy with whom he had three children, Jermaine Jackson Jr (b. January 27, 1977) Autumn Joi Jackson (b. July 10, 1978) and Jaimy Jackson (b. March 17, 1987).

In 1986 and while he was still married to Hazel, he began an affair with Margaret Maldonado, they moved in together after Jermaine’s  divorced from Hazel in 1988; Margaret gave birth to two children, Jeremy (b. December 26, 1986) and Jourdyn (b. January 5, 1989). They split up in 1995, that same year Jermaine became involved with his brother’s woman. Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza who was the mother of the two children she had with Randy Jackson. Oaziaza and Jermaine had three sons together; Jaafar (b. July 25, 1996), Jermajesty (b. October 3rd, 2000 and Donte who they  adopted. Alejandra and Jermaine split up in 2003.

But the former Jackson 5 member didn’t stayed single for long, in January, 2004 while in line at a Starbucks he met a stunning woman by the name of Halima Rashid, Hilama comes from a rich Afghan family, she knew who Jermaine was, but she was not impressed, however the friendly Jackson won her heart quickly and by March, 2004 they were engaged.

Halima Rashid became Halima Jackson at a Los  Angeles Mosque in August, 2004.  Halima is highly involved in  promoting Women Education in The Gambia and Afghanistan.
