Jennifer Azar
This lovely lady is Jennifer Azar; she is the loving and caring wife of Alex Azar, the President of Lilly USA, LLC and former Deputy Secretary of the U.S Department of Health and Human Services; recently nominated by President Trump to be Secretary of Health and Human Services.
Mrs. Azar’s husband was born in Pennsylvania and grew up in Salisbury, Maryland. He graduated from Parkside High School; he holds an A.B in economics and government from Dartmouth College in 1988; subsequently in 1991, received his law degree from Yale Law School.
His first job came as a law clerk for Judge J. Michael Luttig, then was an associate independent counsel at Kenneth W. Starr’s Counsel offices. In 2001, became the Secretary of U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, he was eventually succeeded by Eric Hargan in 2007.
After that, he joined Eli Lilly as Se Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs and Communications and from 2012 to 2017 as the company’s president. In addition to the previously mentioned, Mr. Azar served on the Boards of the Biotechnology Innovation Organization(BIO), he currently serves on the boards of HMS Holdings Corporation.
Mrs. Azar, was born Jennifer Reist on November 4, 1966. She and her family that includes their two children; Claire Elizabeth Azar, Alex Michael Azar III, reside in Indianapolis.
