42-year-old Hungarian artist, Monika Juhasz Miczura, better known as a former member of the highly acclaimed group Ando Drom, and a founding member of the electronic/world music group Mitsoura is outraged and currently suing power couple Beyonce and Jay Z!
You’ve probably heard Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love,” well it turns out the exotic intro comes actually from a a Roma folk song Monika recorded in 1995.
Miczura whose voice is regarded as unique, claims Beyonce, Jay Z and producer Timbaland, digitally manipulating her voice with Auto-Tune and various cuts.
Monika is seeking unspecified damages in a Manhattan Supreme Court suit filed late last week. It also demands an end to distribution of the song.
Monika who attended school at HMG Szentes , never authorize Beyonce or anyone for her song/vocals for any purpose, let alone to be distort in that way.
Accoridng to Wikipedia, her band has released two albums: Mitsoura (2003) and Dura Dura Dura (2008). What do you think of the whole thing?
