Meet Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar
Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar is the son of fugitive drug lord Joaquín Archivaldo Guzmán Loera better known as “El Chapo Guzman.”
New reports are saying Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar could have indicated the whereabouts of his father after posting images to one of his social media accounts. El Chapo -the leader of Mexico’s Sinaloa cartel –famously escaped from Almoloya maximum-security prison last July.
According to the Telegraph, Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar posted an online a photograph that appears to have been taken in the Central American country of Costa Rica. The image shows Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar sitting in between to men, both of them have been partially covered, one of them bares a resemblance to his father.
The picture dated August 31st, and posted to an account claiming to be Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar, allegedly took place in Costa Rica, thanks to the Twitter feature which automatically indicates the exact location of where the image is being captured. Other reports talk about the fact that, the actual place could either be the Central American country or a village in Sinaloa, Mexico with the same name.
29-year-old Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar happens to be, also a wanted man. Authorities in Costa Rica have said they had no record of him or his father entering the country.
According to online info, Jesús Alfredo is the son of El Chapo with his first wife, Alejandrina María Salazar Hernández. His parents wedded in 1977 in a small ceremony in the town of Jesús María, Sinaloa. Brothers include: César and Iván Archivaldo.
Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar has at least four other half siblings from his father’s second marriage to Griselda López Pérez; including Édgar, Joaquín, Ovidio and Griselda Guadalupe.
His father is said to have been married a third time, to Emma Coronel Aispuro in 2007 and with whom he fathered twin girls.
Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar was born in 1986, along with one of his brothers, Iván Archivaldo –has been in the most wanted list since 2012.
Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar, was described in 2009 as a growing force within his father’s organization and has been under the authorities radar ever since. He and his mother, were described as key members and direct responsible for Sinaloa’s drug trade between the U.S. and Mexico. Jesus Alfredo Guzman Salazar is known as “El Gordo” (“The Fat One”), while his brother Iván Archivaldo, is known as “El Chapito.”
