Debbie Meadows is the proud wife of politician, Mark Meadows –who represents North Carolina’s 11th congressional district.



Debbie’s husband is currently serving his third term in Congress, the republican is considered one of the president’s allies.

Meadows previously served as a congressional delegate to the 68th session of the United Nations General Assembly and as a commissioner on the Congressional-Executive Commission on China. In November of 2016, Congressman Meadows was elected Chairman of the House Freedom Caucus.

Born Mark Randall Meadows on July 28, 1959; in France but raised in Florida –he graduated from the University of South Florida with an associate degree.

Prior to Congress, Mark Meadows was a small business owner for nearly 30-years. His ventures included opening a restaurant in North Carolina back in the 80’s –which he later sold to start a real estate development company in Florida.

He’s been happily married to wife, Debbie for the last 40-years. The two tied the knot in 1979 and raised two children together, son Blake and daughter, Haley.

Debbie met her future husband while attending the same high school in Tampa, Bay. They began dating in high school but broke up after attending different colleges. Soon-after they rekindled the romance.

In 1987, Mark and Debbie Meadows started “Aunt D’s,” a restaurant in Highlands, North Carolina.

Though the political spouse and mother of two has kept low profile compared to her husband’s, she is definitely an outspoken person. Last year she grabbed some headlines after she criticized Paul Ryan’s Position on Health Care –calling it ‘Rynacare’ in an email.

Debbie was also vocal back in 2016, during Trump’s presidential campaign. She and other wives of Republican congressman held an event as members of Republican Congressional Wives Speakers –defending Trump over the Access Hollywood tape.
