Stacy Sager is the lovely wife of legendary sports broadcaster, Craig Sager. Stacy and her husband were married for 16-years and became the proud parents of two children. Stacy became a widow on December 15, 2016 after Craig Sager lost his battle against cancer. He was 65.

Stacy Sager’s husband was born Craig Sager on June 29, 1951. The Illinois native graduated from Northwestern University in 1973, earning a bachelor’s degree in speech.

Sager, who worked for Turner Sports for more than 30 years and was best known as an accomplished NBA sideline reporter. According to reports he died just days after being inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame.

Sager, the longtime Turner Sports sideline reporter was best known for his colorful — and at times fluorescent – wardrobe.

In June, Sager worked his very first NBA finals game, sideline reporting for Game 6 between the Cavaliers and the Warriors.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy Sager and five children.

Although Sager said in the past his pretty wife does not watch sports, she actually started in the industry.

43-year-old Stacy Sager was born Stacey Jo Strebel in Arlington Heights. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.

Prior to becoming a married woman and a mom of two, she had a career as a sports dancer. She is a former dancer for the Chicago Bulls. She was a regular Luvabulls during the Michael Jordan dynasty years.

After retiring from dancing, she served  as a Field Clinical Sales Representative at Boston Scientific. Accoridng to her LinkedIn, she is currently listed as the owner of Fairway Vacations LLC –a Vacation Rentals located in Reunion Resort & Club.

She holds a BS, in Biology from the University of Illinois. She is also co-owner of Jocks and Jill’s Sports Grill.

As a former NBA dancer, it’s not hard to imagine Stacy attending games. She met her husband during one of his many broadcastings, while he was reporting on Bulls games.

They became engaged during the 2000 World Series. The lovely blonde is his second wife.

Stacy and Craig welcomed two children during their marriage a daughter Riley and son, Ryan Sager. Daughter Riley, used to help her famous dad pick out his ties.

Craig fathered a total of five children, three, from previous marriage to Lisa Gabel.

That makes Stacy, the stepmom to Kaci, Craig Jr., and Krista.

Son, Craig Jr., was a walk-on wide receiver at the University of Georgia. He is currently a managing editor for Score Atlanta, which covers high school sports across Georgia.
