Colin Kingston Kelsey Annese’s Boyfriend in SUNY Geneseo Murders

Meet Colin Kingston

Colin Kingston has been identified as one of three people found dead this morning, at a house near SUNY Geneso Campus.

Police has identified all three bodies as Colin Kingston, Kelsey Annese and Matthew Hutchinson in what is being described as a double-murder and suicide.

The gloomy scene at the Wadsworth Street home, was discovered following a 911 call. According to the news outlets, it is believed the call was made by Colin Kingston’s father –who said his son “called him from an unknown number” and said “that he murdered his girlfriend … and he’s also going to kill himself”

Police said although they believe one of the victims was the perpetrator, further investigation needs to be done. A knife was found at the scene.

Sources online say Colin Kinston was in fact in a relationship with Kelsey Annese. It is not yet clear what prompted Colin Kinston to the alleged double murder-suicide –and neither what the role of Matthew Hutchinson was.

Kelsey Annese is survived by her parents Krista and Ron Annese and her two siblings: Dylan and Grace.

She played basketball for SUNY Geneseo. She graduated from Webster Schroeder in 2012. According to COED, Annese, a guard on the college’s women’s basketball team, scored five points in 13 minutes of Geneseo’s 63-52 victory over Buffalo State. In a profile on the team’s website she said she wore number 32 because it was the number her father wore when he attended and played for the school.

She majored in special education and Spanish and minored in psychology at the college.

According to the Daily News Online, Hutchinson came to Geneseo after a stint in the British Columbia Hockey League. He was studying geography and business studies at SUNY Geneseo, where he continued playing hockey as a defenseman.
