 Meet Maddie Corman the wife of Director Jason Alexander

44-year-old TV actress Maddie Corman must be devastated after hearing the news of her husband’s arrest under child ****ography charges!

According to NBC NY, Alexander was arrested Wednesday in Westchester County and charged with one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child and one count of possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.

The blonde actress has been married to Jason “Jace” Alexander –who happens to be the director of hit TV crime drama series Law & Order –since 1998. The marriage of almost two decades have three children together according to her Wikipedia page. Maddie is the mother of a 15-year-old daughter and 10-year-old twin sons.

51-year-old Jace Alexander, a NY native, is the only son of son of actress Jane Alexander and her first husband Robert. He did some acting in his early career but is best known as a TV and stage director.

Jace has under his resume nearly three dozen episodes of “Law and Order” since the mid-1990s. He is also known for his work on “The Blacklist” “Rescue Me” and “Carry Me Home.”

He currently serves as the vice-president of The Director’s Guild of America.

Maddie was born Madeleine Cornman on August 15, 1970 in Manhattan, New York. Although she left the business to become a full time mother, she did enough to be remembered in her early years. Her appearance in films include Seven Minutes in Heaven, Some Kind of Wonderful and The Adventures of Ford Fairlane. Smaller roles include Swingers, Mickey Blue Eyes and Maid in Manhattan.

She also had a recurring role as Ruthie on the ABC comedy series All-American Girl. Most recently, she appeared in the Broadway play Geoffrey Naufft’s “Next Fall” in 2010.

Acording to the NY Times Maddie and Jace tied the knot on Sept. 6, 1998. They couple had met two years prior after they were introduced by friends. At the time, she lived in Los Angeles while he was based in Manhattan’s Chelsea neighborhood. Corman revealed during an interview, she fell quickly and madly in love with everything about Mr. Alexander, from his eyes and sense of humor to his determination to alphabetize her CD’s and teach her how to scuba dive. By June 1997, she had moved into his brownstone apartment. That year in December he popped the question while they were vacationing on the island of Dominica.

Her hubby of 17-years and father of her three children, could face up to seven years in prison if convicted. His bail was set at $10,000. and his court appearance is set for Nov. 19 reports US Weekly.
