Mia Swier is the steady girlfriend of actor/ musician, Darren Criss, the couple has been dating for a few years now and are still going strong. Meet Darren’s better half below.

Mia’s beau was born February 5, 1987 in San Francisco, California. He attended the University of Michigan to pursue his degree in acting. During his senior year, he and his friends created StarKid Productions, a musical theater company based in Chicago.

The hunky 30-year-old has paved his way in the music industry going from YouTube sensation to a six‐time Billboard charting musician and composer.

He made a guest star on the second season of Glee and was quickly promoted to a series regular. Criss has starred on Broadway in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying and Hedwig and the Angry Inch. In September 2012, he made his feature film debut in the comedy Girl Most Likely.

He was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2015 for writing the song “This Time” for the Glee finale.

Let’s just say he’s done really good for himself, that goes both professionally and privately. He and Mia Swier have been dating even before he became famous, that’s a long time.

Mia Swier is also a fellow musician. She was born September 1, 1985 in Alabama. Mia who also goes by Mia Von Glitz is the daughter of a painter father who used the name Laszlo Von Glitz.

Mia attended New York University’s Steinhardt School for Media Studies and Television Production. In 2009, she co-founded a film production company called Effin Media, she has also worked at ABC, NBC and USA Network. She was also associated to White Cherry Entertainment.

As a writer and producer at Fox Networks Mia also worked with important TV programs including Saturday Night Live, Who Wants to be a Millionaire, The Tony Awards, the Super Bowl and more.

As a musician, she has performed as a bassist and vocalist in bands called Shoot the Freak, Guns n’ Hoses and Mad Moon Riot, the former two of which she started.

Mia Swier was ok with her man keeping their relationship private but the subject of a girlfriend surfaced in 2013, where Darren confirmed they were an item.

Darren took Mia as his date to the 2013 Tony’s and since then, they have been photographed numerous times.
