Christine Grady is the longtime wife of Dr. Anthony Fauci -who serves as the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.



Christine’s husband has been making headlines due to the coronavirus crisis and has become to some extent, the face of the government’s response to the COVID-19.
When it comes to the deadly virus, Dr. Fauci, the nation’s leading expert on infectious diseases, has said ‘the worst is yet to come’

Dr. Fauci was born December 24, 1940; the New Yorker is widely recognized and has made seminal contributions to the understanding of how HIV destroys the body’s defenses leading to its susceptibility to deadly infections.
According to his profile, Fauci oversees an extensive portfolio of basic and applied research to prevent, diagnose, and treat established infectious diseases such as HIV/AIDS, respiratory infections, diarrheal diseases, tuberculosis and malaria as well as emerging diseases such as Ebola and Zika. He has advised six presidents on HIV/AIDS and many other domestic and global health issues.

Dr. Fauci has been married to Christine Grady since 1985. Liker her famous husband, she is also in the medical field.
Christine Grady is a longtime nurse and the current chief of the department of bioethics with the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She graduated with a B.S. in nursing and biology from Georgetown University, a M.S.N. in community health nursing from Boston College, and a Ph.D. in philosophy from Georgetown.

She is also a senior research fellow at the Kennedy Institute of Ethics and was elected as a Fellow at both the American Academy of Nursing and the Hastings Center. Dr. Grady is a member of the Presidential Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues.
She has previously served as a consultant to UNAIDS and the Pan American Health Organization and as a staff member to the President’s Commission on HIV Infection. Dr. Grady has authored more than 100 papers in bioethics, HIV disease, and nursing, and has authored or edited several books.

Christine Grady and her husband met over the bed of a patient and are the parents of three adult daughters, Jennifer, Megan and Alison.
