Bijou Phillips
Bijou Phillips is the loving and supportive actress wife of TV and movie actor, Danny Masterson –well known for his appearance on the TV Show, ‘That ‘70s Show” alongside Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis.
Bijou and her husband of several years are definitely not going through one of their best times. The 41-year-old actor was accused of rape by four women earlier this year. Danny who hasn’t been charged or arrested, has denied the allegations.
Born March 13, 1976; New York native Danny, began as a magazine and commercial model and later became involved in theater. Aside from That 70’s Show, Masterson also starred on TBS’s Men at Work. Most recently he appeared in the new Netflix series The Ranch –from which he was kicked out amid rape allegations.

#1 She is the daughter of a rock-star
Born April 1, 1980; Bijou is the youngest of John Phillips’s children –as of John Phillips of The Mamas & the Papas. Her mother is Geneviève Waïte, a South African model, artist, and actress. Bijou has one brother, Tamerlane, and three half-siblings: Mackenzie, Jeffrey, and Chynna.
#2 She was named after a song
The Greenwich, Connecticut native was named by her rock-star father and her model mother, after the song “My Petite Bijou” by Lambert, Hendricks & Ross –which means jewel in French.
#3 She quit school at 14
She began living on her own in New York City at the age of fourteen. Bijou had her own apartment with a housekeeper, just off Fifth Avenue. During that time she used to party, drink and take drugs.
#4 Bijou knew her half-sister Mackenzie Phillips had consensual sex with their father, Mamas and the Papas leader John Phillips.
Bijou told Oprah she was 13 years old when Mackenzie Phillips told her about the sexual relationship. It is well known that Mackenzie engaged in a consensual relationship with her father that continued for ten years.
#5 She began her career as a model but soon began acting and singing
Bijou Phillips has appeared in Italian Vogue and in ads for Calvin Klein. She released her debut album in 1999. That same year she appeared on the film, ‘Black and White.’ Other acting credits include ‘Almost Famous’ ‘Bully’ ‘Octane’ ‘Venom.’ She also appeared alongside her husband in the TV series Raising Hope.
#6 She has been married since 2011
Bijou and Danny met in 2004 at a poker tournament in Las Vegas. They got engaged in 2009 and were married on October 18, 2011, in a private castle in Ireland.
#7 She is a mom
Three years after their marriage, Bijou Phillips gave birth to the couple’s first child, daughter Fianna Francis Masterson –born in early 2014.
#8 She received a kidney transplant
Bijou had been suffering from kidney disease for several years prior to receiving a transplant in April 2017.
#9 She was accused of ‘body-shaming’
Last month, actor Daniel Franzese accused actress-singer Bijou Phillips of body-shaming him, mocking his sexuality and physically assaulting him on the set of their movie Bully. She later apologized to him.
#10 Bijou Phillips is a Scientologist
