Krista Monteleone
Krista Monteleone was the wife of Michelle Rounds; the ex-wife of television personality and comedian Rosie O’Donnell; together they had one daughter together Dakota “Dax” O’Donnell. Mrs. Rounds was 46, when she died of an apparent suicide on Monday, September 11, 2017.
“I am saddened to hear about this terrible tragedy. Mental illness is a very serious issue affecting many families. My thoughts and prayers go out to Michelle’s family, her wife and their child.” Said Rosie.
Michelle Rounds was born on May 10, 1971, in Corning, New York; she was the daughter of Gayle and Roger Rounds, ages 68 and 71, respectively, and parents of their son Tad.
Michelle grew up in Iroquois, South Dakota; where she attended at Iroquois High School and subsequently went to the State University of New York; she later worked on Wall Street and later a recruiter for Modis in New York.
Rounds met Rosie at a Starbucks in 2011, they became engaged in December 2011 and tied the knot in a private ceremony on June 9, 2012. Michelle and the comedian adopted their daughter Dakota in January 2013.
Their marriage started to crumble early in 2015, they eventually separated in February and divorced in October.
As noted O’Donnell started dating Dana Caruso; and Michelle met Krista Monteleone. Michelle and Krista eventually got married, Monteleone had one son from a precious relationship.
