Carl’s and his cover girl who was a supermodel in the ’90s not only posing for Sports Illustrated but also Playboy magazine have been dating for the past two-years. When the entrepreneur and Angie got engaged last April she said Carl had brought her faith in man back!
“This man really brought faith back into my life for marriage and men. There was no doubt whatsoever It was just a matter of when.”
Ferro, popped the question to Everhart, who is now hard at work on a new TV show, on their second year anniversary, in the very spot where they shared their first kiss — an elevator at the Redbury hotel. After a sushi dinner, the couple headed to the Redbury for a night cap, and as they stepped into the elevator Ferro, who had stashed the more than 4.5 carat diamond ring in his sock, got down on one knee.
Ferro is father to an 8-year-old daughter who is already referring to Angie’s 4-year-old son as “brother.” This will be Everhart’s fifth engagement and second marriage: The former Playboy model divorced Ashley Hamilton in 1997. She has one child, 4½-year-old son Kayden Bobby, with ex-boyfriend Chad Stansbury.
His girlfriend, the former Sports Illustrated model beat thyroid cancer in 2013. “You realize who people are when you go through life or death circumstances, and Carl has proven himself a thousand-fold to me,” she said about Ferro’s support through her treatment. Last March she had to go under the knife again, this time for neck surgery to relieve nerve pain.
