Meet Steven Sheerer
Steven Sheerer is the drug dealer who housed Rosie O’Donnell’s missing daughter, Chelsea. As we previously told you, the 17-year-old was last seen August 11th.
In a public plea for help in finding Chelsea, Rosie posted a statement earlier this week on her website saying her daughter had ran away from home taking her dog Bear with her.
Just hours later after her statement, Rosie Twitted Chelsea had been found and was safe in police custody.
Recent reports say the teen was found by police after they received a call, and they discovered her with 25-year-old Sheerer at a house where he was staying. According to TMZ, cops didn’t find drugs when they picked her up, and she was lucid.
Since finding her daughter Rosie has made sure to spread the word on Steven’s criminal records. She tweeted a 2012 article about Steven who was 22 at the time, the article says he was arrested for heroin possession, heroin possession with the intent to distribute, and endangering the welfare of a child. He pled guilty to one heroin charge and the other 2 were dismissed. He was sentenced to 53 days in jail.
Just before his sentencing, Sheerer was arrested again for possession of Suboxone.
Steven is originally form Village Drive and had been living with Chelsea for a week inside the Shore area of New Jersey on Tuesday. Chelsea who suffers from an undisclosed mental illness, was taken to the Barnegat Township Police Department Tuesday night.
Although is not clear the connection O’Donnell had with Sheerer, some outlets say the two met online, they began communicating through the famous app Tinder.
The NY Daily News reports, Steven denied cops entrance to his home at first but they eventually made it all the way to his attic, where the teen was found.
Records online show, his relatives includes Michele, Kelsey, Lyndsey, Rebecca Sherrer.
