Courtney McBroom
Courtney McBroom was once in a relationship with funnyman and filmmaker, Aziz Ansari –best known from his role as Tom Haverford on the NBC series Parks and Recreation.
Courtney’s ex-beau has been recently accused of sexual misconduct. Over the weekend a report on the website Babe surfaced describing the story of a woman who went on a date with the creator of Netflix’s Master of None. The woman says Ansari was persistent in trying to undress her and initiate sex, even after she told him she was uncomfortable. Ansari said in a statement he is shocked that what happened between them wasn’t consensual.
Ansari becomes the latest of a number of men in Hollywood to have been accused of sexual misconduct. Born February 23, 1983; the Columbia, South Carolina native who is of Indian descent, grew up with a brother, Aniz.
Ansari who majored in marketing while studying at New York University –has also appeared in such movies as 30 Minutes or Less, Ice Age: Continental Drift, and Funny People. In 2015, he began starring on his own Netflix series titled Master of None. The 34-year-old has been pretty successful, most recently he became the first Asian to win best actor in a TV comedy at the 2018 Golden Globes for his role in Master of None.
However, the same can’t be said about his love life. In 2016, he broke up with his girlfriend of two years, Courtney McBroom –who is a famed pastry chef.
The former couple began dating in 2013 after having met when she was a chef at the Momofuku Milk Bar. The lovely blonde, currently co-owns the Large Marge food company in LA. Courtney McBroom also runs her own website.
McBroom, a classically-trained pastry chef, got her professional start as a sous chef at Momofuku Milk Bar. Working with head chef Christina Tosi, McBroom helped write two of the bakery’s best-selling cookbooks. The Texan native went on to open a pop-up restaurant called Casa Blanco in New York.
