Elaine Chappelle is the proud and loving wife of iconic comedian, actor, writer and producer Dave Chappelle.



Elaine’s hubby is well known for his acting roles and for his sense of humor. The 44-year-old recently took advantage of his newest Netflix comedy special to make a joke about Trump voters in his unique way.

The comedian attended the Duke Ellington School of the Arts before moving to NYC and pursuing a career in comedy. In 1993, he appeared in Mel Brooks’ film Robin Hood: Men in Tights, and in 2004, Michael Gondry directed Dave Chappelle’s Block Party, which was a documentary about a rap concert hosted by Chappelle.

Though he’s retired from TV, his show, continues to run in late-night syndication and on television networks around the world.

Mrs. Chappelle was born Elaine Mendoza Erfe on August 31, 1974; she is a Brooklyn native but is of Filipina descent. It’s not exactly celar how the two met but they have been hitched for the last 16-years.

Since their nuptials, Elaine Chappelle and her famous husband have welcomed three children together.  She is the proud mother of two sons Suleyman and Ibrahim; and one daughter, Sanaa. In his signature sense of humor, Chappelle described his small multi-cultural family saying, “My wife is Asian, and my children have someway turned out to be Puerto Rican.”

The family are longtime residents of Ohio. Her hubby who converted to Islam in the late 90’s owns a farm near Yellow Springs, Ohio.

With her husband net worth surpassing the 40 million mark, Elaine Chappelle clearly doesn’t need to work and is a happy and devoted housewife and mother.
