Pam Cole Boothe
Pam Cole Boothe was the loving and beautiful wife of Emmy award-winning actor, Powers Boothe. Her husband is best known for his performance in Guyana Tragedy: The Story of Jim Jones as Jim Jones.
Mr. Boothe went onto become a well-known actor landing a number of notable roles. Born June 1, 1948; the Texas native got his first break in Hollywood in 1977’s The Goodbye Girl and three years later he played Reverend Jim Jones in Guyana Tragedy –for which he was awarded an Emmy.
After that, he appeared in many movies and TV shows and all of his characters received critical acclaim, including Sin City, Nashville, 24, and most recently before his death, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. He enjoyed a steady flow of acting and voice-overs throughout his lifelong career.
Pam’s husband died of natural causes at the age of 68, recent reports say. Boothe who died in his sleep on May 14th, and Pam, were divorced at the time of his death.
Pam is the first wife of Power booth. She met her future husband while in college at Texas State University. The college sweethearts tied the knot on May 25, 1969.
At the time of their nuptials, Powers was not yet famous. The couple produced two children.
Pam Cole Boothe is the mother of the couple’s two kids, Parisse and Preston Boothe. They welcomed first child, daughter Parisse 36-years-ago and who followed in her father’s footsteps and became an actress. Their son Preston 28, attended the University of California.
They met in high school in Snyder, Texas; and were married until his death – his death certificate lists her as the surviving spouse when he died in their home. Powers was best known for his “Curly Bill” character in “Tombstone.
