The CEO of the airline confirmed on Wednesday two Americans were on board of the Germanwings flight which was turn to dust after crashing on the French Alps as previously reported.

The rescue operations who are seeking for bodies have been extremely difficult to carry on since the only way to reach the crash site is by walking up to the mountain or by helicopter. After one day chunks of the plane have been found as well as one of the boxes that could help solved the mystery of the doomed airliner.
