This is more than just merely bad luck for the over 90 injured and 2 deaths at the Boston Marathon this morning. After two powerful explosions went off near the Boston Marathon finish line panic and chaos filled Boylston Street, where the explosions took place.
The images are heart wrenching as we can see several crying, others in disbelief, others hugging and comforting in whatever way they can find, but are certainly in no way easy to look at all the blood shed.
Tragedy has struck one more time for American’s. This time hitting hard the capital of the U.S. state of Massachusetts. A clear terrorist attack threw people to the ground during an event that was supposed to be just as planned and as common as any other previous year; you can even read on the Boston Marathon page:

The page keeps a track of the top performers showing a leader board both for men and women and there is even a wheelchair board; to think all these athletes or let’s just say all this people woke up this morning excited to go and participate, be a art of this marathon; and those who were there to show support, and those who were only passing through; adults and children alike were there not having in their minds the slightest idea of what was about to happen! Its sickening to anyone with their marbles in place!
President Obama has been notified of the situation and directed his administration to provide whatever assistance is necessary, according to a White House spokesperson. This tragic blow has also a creepier-sadistic side to it since the families of the Newton, Conn. Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting were being recognized at the marathon because the race is 26.2 miles in distance and 26 people died during the tragic massacre, and they were at the 26th mile marker where 26 stars hung for each of the dead.
In recent reports we find out there seems to be a face to point as the responsible for this horrific act; a Saudi Arabian national. Law enforcement sources said the 20-year-old suspect was under guard at an undisclosed Boston hospital with shrapnel wounds.
Thanks to a surveillance video, Boston police have in their possession the images of someone bringing multiple backpacks to the blast site.
Yet again lives will be remembered as this terrible situation just snatched the spirits of the quiet people of Boston. A third explosion took place more than a mile away from the finish line at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
12 people were killed in total in today’s explosion. We lift up a prayer for all of them and their families.
