The only son of Former Vice President Al Gore and Tripper Gore, Al Gore III has tied the knot to long time high school friend Brittany Toscano. Now, aren’t you a little bit interested in knowing who the bride is?
We certainly are so here is what we know about her!
Usually politician offspring’s tend to marry well educated women and Toscano certainly meets the profile with her looks and brains.
The 32-year-old groom said “I do” to his now wife, Toscano over the weekend during a D.C.-themed wedding at Union Station. The radiant couple then, took the party to the East Hall of the historic depot.
28-year-old Brittany Christine Tosacno met her now husband during their teens, while they both attended Sidwell Friends in Washington. They began dating years later in 2010 after they reconnecting at a New Year’s Eve party. According to People mag, she works in non-profit fundraising and development; according to her LinkedIn she is a Grants and Development Manager at Columbia University.
Lovely Brittany, daughter of Tracey Toscano and J. Toscano –who walked her down the isle –carried lilies of the valley and sweet peas in a classic French-style bouquet. She wore a Monique Lhuillier dress and her ring was designed by Ali Galgano, People reports.
After Sidwell Brittany attended St. Mary’s College of Maryland where she got her English, Political Science BA. Before working at Columbia –where she has been for two years –she was a Communications Coordinator at Alenia North America from 2008-2010; she was also a Global Marketing Coordinator at State Street for a year and an Associate at SKDKnickerbocker for another year.
Making her last name justice, she speaks Italian and her professional skills include strategic communications, media relations, press releases, event planning, program managements among others.
Brittany’s man is famous for his car accident; Gore was just 6 when he barely survived being hit by a car and also what media labeled as “troubled son”
Back in 2007 her now hubby had his run with the law, the Post‘s other zingers included the headline “Gore son at ‘high’ speeds,” “the hybrid car was green in more ways than one,” when he was busted speeding and charged with illegal possession. The bad boy image he carved himself on several run-ins with the law has seems to be gone for the Harvard graduate who is currently an MBA candidate.
