When making people laugh comes easy for some, it sure is one of the most difficult things to achieve. Meet the 49-year-old Flight Attendant at South West Airlines who’s safety video has gone viral! She is Martha “Marty” Cobb and she puts her own spin while reciting the boring safety instructions we all are forced to hear during a commercial flight.

The beautiful and witty blonde currently resides in Dallas Texas but calls Lubbock, Texas her hometown. According to her Facebook she attended Monterey High School in Lubbock, graduating in 1982. Then went off to Texas Tech University where she pursued Bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Motel, and Restaurant Management from 1982 – 1988
Her professional skills according to her LinkedIn profile include commercial aviation, B737, airports, Lubbock flights, Lubbock flights safety, human factors, aviation security among others.
.Martha who could have been a beauty pageant constant is a mom of three children, son Heath Parkman; and equally beautiful daughters Elizabeth Hagan and Haley Parkman. Hagan is a Mass Comunication student at Texas A&M University while her sister Haley is an Ophthalmic Assistant.
Cobb has been working for Southwest Airlines for almost 8-years. In the video that was uploaded to YouTube on April, 12, Cobb tells passengers,
“Can I pretend to have your attention for just a few moments? My ex-husband, my new boyfriend and their divorce attorney are going to show you the safety features of this 737-800.”
Cobb had the Salt Lake City-bound passengers in stitches and got a round of applause at the end of the three-minute video, which has been viewed an outstating nearly 6 million times! She told TODAY that she made the video about three months ago during a flight to Salt Lake City. She just recently set up her YouTube account and says she was “very surprised” by the response to her video.
The funny lady states there’s nothing like a little comic relief to ease the stress of air travel.
