Erin Darke – Daniel Radcliffe’s Girlfriend

Meet the actress girlfriend of Daniel Radcliffe! She is the pretty Erin Darke.

Major online sources like the Daily Mail reports the couple went public just a few days ago, with a visit to a British grocery store in New York; but the young love birds have been dating for about two years now and is not the first time we hear about the item spotted together or getting cozy.

Online sources describe how the Harry Potter’s star jumped from his former gal pal production assistant Rosie Coker –whom he split after two years of relationship –to Darke, rather quick; in fact he was romantically linked to Erin the same month he announced he and Coker were no longer living together.

The 24-year-old swept his new love interest with trips to London but apparently it was said they also went sour. That didn’t last long  as she was spotted jumping into a car with Daniel after his performance in The Cripple of Inishmann outside the Noel Coward theatre in London, last August.

The two were later spotted getting cozy at the Sundance Film Festival.

The couple were also spotted kissing at the Grey Goose Vodka Lounge dinner at the Blue Door while promoting Kill Your Darling with other members of the cast

Erin and Daniel met on the set of Kill Your Darlings back in 2012 – with Dan playing Allen Ginsberg and Erin taking up the role of Gwendolyn.

According to her IMDb profile, Erin is also known for her work on We Need to Talk About Kevin (2011), Young Adult (2011) and The Wolverine (2013).

The talented up and coming actress is originally from Michigan but has been living in NYC since her acting debut. Before she got her big break she actually was a lifeguard for five years before moving to New York. Her last name is pronounced dark, as in the absence of light!

She grew up in Flint, where she started doing shows at the local theatre, as a teenager.

During an interview for relatemag.com she talked about her passion for becoming an actress saying

When I was 13 I did a backlight Christmas show there called ‘Visions of Sugarplums’ and, even though it was a crazy show where I had no lines and you couldn’t see my face, I decided that acting was what I wanted to do with the rest of my life. It can be a rough business, but I love it and I’ve never looked back.

The 29-year-old said this when promoting her movie “Kill Your Darlings”

That film was a blast to work on. It’s an amazing script and a wonderful cast. I have a few fun scenes in the film, but I don’t want to say too much about Gwendolyn and risk giving it all away.

For being an actress she is not much of a fan of social media, instead she prefers to go under the radar with her man.
