Dan Goldstein has been identified as the man who confronted Ivanka Trump on a JetBlue flight.
Goldstein allegedly snapped at Ivanka –who was flying commercial along with her husband –and told her that, her father was ‘ruining the country’. He was eventually removed from the flight.
Goldstein’s full name is Daniel Jennings Goldstein, he is a wealthy Jewish lawyer who currently resides in Brooklyn. He is a homosexual man who was traveling with his husband and child.
He is married to Matthew Lasner –a professor at Hunter College, who tweeted following the incident
“My husband expressed his displeasure in a calm tone, JetBlue staff overheard, and they kicked us off the plane.”
Lesner had acknowledged on a previous tweet, his husbands intent to harass Trump
Ivanka and Jared at JFK T5, flying commercial. My husband chasing them down to harass them. #banalityofevil.”
Ivanka reportedly kept calm and tried to distract her children with crayons.
The president-elect’s daughter, her kids and some cousins were all flying economy on JetBlue.
According to the Daily Mail, Goldstein is an employment lawyer in Brooklyn and a graduate of Wesleyan University and the University of California, Los Angeles, School of Law.
Before making the move to Brooklyn, Goldstein was based in San Francisco, where he worked for the U.S. Mint as an Employee and Labor Relations Specialist until 2012, according to the International Ombudsman Association.
Dan’s husband, Matt Lesner is a professor of urban studies and planning at Hunter College and lives in New York. According to his twitter, Lesner has a Harvard PhD and is the author of a number of books, including “High Life: Condo Living in the Suburban Century.” He has his own website.
Together they are the proud parents of one son named, Amos.
The couple own a 1,100-square foot apartment on Brooklyn’s Columbia Heights for which they paid $1.075 million.
