Some major congratulations are in store indeed for “Dr. Leah” who as of last night became the newest addition in Lord Alan Sugar’s business team. The 24-year-old who participated in the U.K version of the highly famed show “The Apprentice” endured and prevailed becoming the sole winner of series 9.
But we are not the only ones saying congrats; former boyfriend Celtic’s goalkeeper Fraser Forster came to twitter last night and did not miss the chance to say
And we couldn’t agree more! Too bad their four years romance tanked earlier this year! The blue-eyed blonde from Northern Ireland met Fraser in 2009 when she was studying medicine at the University of East Anglia. At the time, Fraser was on loan to Norwich City from Newcastle United, before he eventually signed to Celtic last year.
So what else do we know about handsome and talented footballer? Other than he apparently is still single!
The English player was born March 17, 1988 in Hexham; he actually did not always played football but instead started playing rugby union and cricket. As a young boy played for the famous Wallsend Boys Club until 2005 when he signed with Newcastled United.
During his five years under Newcastle, he was out on loan to many clubs, including Norwich City, Stockport County and Bristol Rovers. After originally being on loan to Celtic, he signed a reported £2million deal with the Scottish club last year. His performance against FC Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League group stages last year helped the team make history for a 2-1 win, prompting the Spanish media to give him the nickname ‘La Gran Muralla (The Great Wall).
Last October and this March, Roy Hodgson included Fraser in his World Cup 2014 England qualifying squad.
The once allegedly solid duo actually parted ways not long ago, Leah now works in a London NHS hospital and Fraser is based in Glasgow.
Think they are just good friends or there are still feelings there??
