It would appear 2014 is starting off rather well for 32-year-old actress/dancer Tanee McCall aka Tanee McCall Short. It was reported earlier this month she and her hubby of nine years, actor C-Short were calling off their divorce and were settled to worked thing out instead! Wow, an amazing turn on what divorces usually are.

The mom and former dancer claimed in her September 2013 suit, her man had a brief fling with Britney

Spears in 2003 when he worked as her back-up dancer. But those are old news, nowadays  Tanee’s hubby  is best known for playing Harrison Wright, Olivia Pope’s right-hand man on Shonda Rhimes’ political drama Scandal.

Tanee who was born Tuere Tanee McCall, on April 17, 1981 in Los Angeles, California tied the knot to fellow dancer, Columbus Short in 2005. She became a proud mom for the first time to the couple’s only child, a beautiful baby girl, now a 2-year-old tot named Ayala. Her hubby being previously hitched to Brandi Short was already a father to his ex’s child, now a nine-year-old son.

Instead of moving forward with Tanee’s request for spousal support and sole custody of their 2-year-old daughter Ayala, the twosome are now focused on their brand new short film, perfectly titled The End Again, where they star side-by-side. In a press release, Columbus said working with is wife was a great experience.

Tanee is also known for appearances in 2004 “You Got Served” 2005 “Coach Carter” 2007 “Hairspray” and most recently 2010 “Burlesque”  and her resume goes on filled with commercials, live performances, TV series and many more music videos.

Tanee trained with Paul Taylor Dance Company and she also worked with bloc agency. Her skills include Acting, Gymnastics: Floor, Rhythmic Gymnastics: Ribbon, Tumbling: Back springs, Aerial, Singing and she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance from the Southern Methodist University.

Now, if you were paying attention we started off saying this was a good start of the year for her, but now we are second guessing.

Her 31-year-old hubby is currently being investigated for criminal battery after hospitalizing man in bar fight! Ouch!
