Lawrence O’Donnell
Lawrence O’Donnell is the husband of award-winning journalist Tamron Hall –whom you may now best as the Co-Host of TODAY’s on NBC –will be no more.
It’s been confirmed O’Donnell’s wife has left the network to make room for Megyn Kelly.
Tamron also served as Host of MSNBC Live, weekdays at 11amET on MSNBC and Host of Deadline Crime on Investigation Discovery.
She was born Tamron Hall on September 16, 1970 . The Luling, Texas native holds a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University.
According to her bio, on MSNBC, Hall began her broadcasting career at KBTX in Bryan, Texas, as a general assignment reporter.
She she has also hosted several special reports for msnbc and NBC News, including “Making the Grade,” “Debating the Black Agenda,” several “Dateline” and “Rock Center” pieces, the 2012 London Olympics and “Education Nation: Teacher Town Hall,” which was nominated for an Emmy Award in 2011.
Prior to joining msnbc in July 2007, Tamron spent 10 years at WFLD in Chicago, where she held a number of positions including general assignment reporter, consumer reporter and host of the three-hour “Fox News in the Morning” program.
Before joining WFLD, Tamron spent four years as a general assignment reporter at KTVT in Dallas.
Hall has said in the past that she chickened out of two weddings. Perhaps now that she will have more time in her hands she could find the one?
Some sites suggest she is already married, the lucky guy if fellow journalist, Lawrence O’Donnell.
Her man, Lawrence O’Donnell is also a big name on MSNBC. The pair allegedly tied the knot last year after a five-year courtship.
Lawrence O’Donnell currently hosts The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, which launched in 2010. He was previously married to actress Kathryn Harrold (pictured below) from 1994 to 2013. The marriage produced one daughter, Elizabeth.
Lawrence Francis O’Donnell, Jr. was born November 7, 1951. The Boston MA. native is a graduate from Harvard College who began his career as a writer.
O’Donnell published the 1983 book Deadly Force, as well as a number of essays and articles.
In the late 80’s he entered into politics and the government working with Sen. Moynihan as Director of Communications in the Senator’s 1988 re-election campaign.
Lawrence O’Donnell has an extraordinary background in politics that includes a number of positions such as, Chief of Staff to the Senate Committee on the Environment and Public Works.
He joined msnbc as a political analyst in 1996 and since has become an Emmy Award-winning executive producer and writer for the NBC series “The West Wing” and creator and executive producer of the NBC series, “Mister Sterling.”
