Joseph Codd: Celebrity Chef Cristie Schoen Codd’s Husband

45-year-old Joseph “JT” Codd and his wife, former Food Network chef and Mississippi native Cristie Schoen were allegedly killed by their contractor.

Codd a key grip and his wife who provided catering services on film sets were expected to show new film projects over the weekend but didn’t make it, prompting their family members to file missing reports. Authorities believe the couple died on Thursday, March 12.

Codd’s wife who appeared on Season 8 of “Food Network Star” was five months pregnant with her first child.

After appearing on on Food Network Star the lovely blonde most recently dedicated to caterer for film sets while Joseph worked behind-the-scenes handling equipment as a grip, he had worked on the HBO series Carnivale.

According to their social media info, they tied the knot last year in September, having an outdoor ceremony with family and friends.

According to his Facebook page, Codd attended University of Maryland, College Park in College Park, Maryland. He and Cristie were living in Asheville, North Carolina.

Reports say investigators responded to their home in Leicester, about 15 miles west of Asheville, there was no sign of them but their cars and two dogs. Their neighbor Robert Jason Owens has been charged with two counts of first degree murder.
