Victoria Osteen is the very lovely, longtime wife of prominent pastor, Joel Osteen. The two have been married for decades and together share two adult children.

Victoria’s husband is the man behind Lakewood Church, a megachurch in Houston, Texas. Osteen, its senior pastor –is widely known for his televised sermons, which are viewed by millions all over the world. Born Joel Scott Osteen on March 3, 1963; the Texas native is also the author of seven NY Times best sellers.

Joel succeeded his father, Baptist pastor John Osteen after working with him for nearly two decades in creating Lakewood’s TV program. In 1999 Joel’s father died from a heart attack, at the time he had been preaching for only a few days but he eventually became the senior pastor at the church, and it grew from 5,000 to 43,000 members.

Since 1999, his Sunday sermons have grown to reach 100 countries throughout the word. Joel’s success has been nothing but massive, in 2006 he was named one of the most fascinating people by Barbara Walters.

By then, he and wife Victoria had been married for a while. The two have often been described as a power couple. Victoria Osteen has been by his side since day one, she is a co-pastor of Lakewood and dedicates her time to helping families though the church Women’s ministry. She is a natural when it comes to encouraging people in their family life.

Victoria Osteen was born Victoria Iloff on March 28, 1961. She is an Alabama native but she and older brother, Don –grew up in Houston, after their mathematician father, Donald Iloff –took a job with NASA. Both her parents were involved in church duties; while her mom taught Sunday school, her father served as a Deacon.

During her college years, Victoria worked at her mother’s jewelry store. It was there she met Joel after he came in looking for a battery watch. Neither Victoria nor Joel finished their college studied and they were married on April 4, 1987.

The couple have welcomed two children daughter Alexandra born in 1999; and son, Jonathan. Both her children have been active in Lakewood.

The wife and mother of two founded Lakewood Church Women’s Ministry in 2003. Her sermons can be viewed weekly during a one-hour broadcast online. Victoria Osteen is also an author, in 2008 she published the very successful: Love Your Life: Living Happy, Healthy, and Whole.

Aside from her roles in Lakewood, she’s also appeared on Houston radio and is a supporter of nonprofit organizations, specifically Feed the Children and The Bridge.

The blonde has also escaped scandals after a lawsuit was eventually dismissed. In 2005, Victoria was accused of assaulting a flight attendant prior to a flight. However, passengers on board testified in court and said they never saw anything that showed Victoria had assaulted crew members.
