Kevin and Kristin Boettcher
Meet Kevin and Kristin Boettcher; they are the proud parents of Emma Boettner, the 27-year-old librarian who has become an internet sensation after she ended Jeopardy’s champion James Holzhauer’s month-long winning streak.
While James is happily married, it looks like Emma is still single and enjoying her life as a user experience Resident librarian at the University of Chicago; prior to that, she was a librarian account manager at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Emma also worked at the Orange County Public Library and Duke University
Before all of the above, Ms. Boettner worked on getting her AB in English and Literature from Princeton and later her Master’s Degree in Information Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Emma Catherine Boettcher, born in 1992, is one of two children born to Kevin L. Boettcher and his wife Kristin Leslie Boettcher (nee. Krenzke).
Kristin, born on January 2, 1957, studied at Swain County High and Valparaiso University; she worked at Chester County Hospital.
Emma’s dad, Kevin born on August 29, 1957; he studied sat Storm Lake High School and Valparaiso University, where he likely met Kristin.
In addition to Emma, Kevin and Kristin Boettcher are the proud parents to their eldest daughter Hannah Christin born on March 19, 1990; she graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and studied Winterthur Program in American Material Culture at the University of Delaware.
Hannah worked at the Brandywine River Museum of Art; nowadays a public programs Coordinator at the Museum of the American Revolution.
