Taylor Stoker Snowboarder on Survivor 33

Taylor Stoker

Taylor Stoker is one of the contestants on Survivor 33, the current season of the hit TV CBS series. As you know, this season is divided by generation, we have generation X and the millennials, like Taylor.

Taylor was born 24-years-ago as Taylor Lee Stocker. He is a snowboarder and ski instructor who grew up in Liberty Lake and now lives in Post Falls.

Stocker was born in California and his family moved to Liberty Lake from Seattle in 2000. The son of Lee and Angie Stocker, he started working at Mount Spokane in high school.

He graduated from Central Valley High School in 2011 and grew up watching the show.

According to his CBS bio, he is an “Spontaneous, inventive” fella, oh he is also “ a thinker.” As the seasoned developed we’ve also gotten to see, a more of a romantic side of Taylor.

To get to know him better, we heard he enjoys Playing music, brewing beer, and snowboarding –which is pretty much the definition of being a millennial. But when asked what belonging to that age-group meant for him, he added:

“We are open-minded, liberal, self-expressive, upbeat, connected, tech savvy, and we invented the words “sicky sicky, gnar gnar, rachet, clutch, bae, and LOL.”

We have to give it to him, that was a ‘sicky’ answer. He got even more ‘iconic’ when revealing his personal claim to fame: Learning to play guitar.

His reason to be on show, however blew our minds: In all honesty, I have not thought about the money; I just want to kick *** at this game. He pretty much has a ton of free time, right?

Taylor does have a good strategy to survive Survivor, saying he will “take just one day at a time”. He also said he makes friends easy and that he believes most would have a hard time voting him off because people like him.

The 24-year-old adventurer said if he wasn’t in Survivor he’d be taking up fishing in Alaska. He previously worked in the oil fields of North Dakota.

The ‘all powerful’ blue-eyed Millennial does have a downfall. In an interview before the show aired, he said “I do have times where if I’m really tired, if I’m hangry, then I’m just a d—.” Isn’t that the description of the show?
