Steinunn Ólína Þorsteinsdóttir is the loving and supportive wife of Icelandic actor, Karl Stefansson –best known for playing the role of villain Robbie Rotten on the hit kids show, Lazy Town.

Steinunn’s husband was sadly diagnosed with cancer in September 2016. He has since gone through several rounds of surgery and chemo. Last August, after going through what he called a ‘very successful surgery’ he cleared the air for fans who were eager to know about his health, saying: he was free of metastases, however he was not free of cancer.

At the time he also announced he had refused any further adjuvant therapy, chemo or radiation, since there is less than 3 per cent chance of it making any difference. He added that if doctors looked at another metastases, he would “try surgery or nothing at all.” Sadly he recently announced the cancer has returned and this time it can’t be operated.
