Jodi ‘Jinx’ Stewart is the loving and caring wife of Jamaican hip hop recording artist, Sean Paul. The pair has been married since 2012 and recently became first time parents.

Jodi’s hubby was born Sean Paul Ryan Francis Henriques on January 9, 1973. The rapper found fame in the early 2000’s after the release of is 2002 album Dutty Rock –which reached number 1 on the US Rap Billboard charts and went RIAA double platinum.

Other accolades include Best New Act of the Year at the 2003 MTV Music Awards and Best Reggae Album at the 2004 Grammy Awards for Dutty Rock.

Since then, Sean Paul has collaborated with a number of major artists, most notably with Beyonce, Akon, Snoop Dogg and Rihanna.

The son of Garth and Frances Paul, Sean Paul was into sports growing up. He played for Jamaica’s national water polo team as a teenager but dancehall music had always been his first love.

He had a number of hit singles in Jamaica in 1996 but it was with Dutty Rock that he attracted international attention.

His following album, The Trinity released in 2005, was also successful. Both albums peaked in the Top Ten of the album chart and featured a handful of mainstream smashes. His 2009 release Imperial Blaze featured the singles “So Fine” and “Hold My Hand,” the latter a duet with Keri Hilson.

Full Frequency, his sixth studio album, was released in early 2014.

By now, Sean Paul is an established artist and also a happily married man. Meet his better half, Jodi ‘Jinx’ Stewart below.

Sean Paul and Jinx, born Jodi Stewart, married in 2012 after 10 years together. The ‘Get Busy’ singer popped the question at a New Year’s Eve party in 2011. The pair decided on a May 26, 2012 lavish ceremony at the Boone Hall Oasis in Jamaica.

When the couple first began dating in 2002, Jodi ‘Jinx’ Stewart was already a known face in Jamaica. She is a TV and radio personality with a keen sense of fashion. Jodi who is also a costume designer was named Observer’s most stylish woman in 2009.

She has been working for RETV for over a decade. In 2014 the VJ was named Digicel’s new campaign face for Bacchanal.

The couple announced they were expecting their first child last August. Sean Paul shared an image of himself with his wife, along with a pair of baby shoes sitting on a piano with the caption

“Lead Singer Arriving February 2017”

Indeed, Jodi ‘Jinx’ Stewart gave birth to baby boy, Levi Blaze Henriques earlier this month.

The wife and mom of one who now goes by Jodi Henriques seems to be a lot more private than her 44-year-old husband.
