Sandra Bland’s Sister Sharon Cooper

Meet Sharon Cooper, she is the sister of a woman who was found dead inside her jail cell in Texas earlier this week, her sister identified as Sandra Bland from Illinois, drove to Texas for a new job opportunity.

Cooper’s sister had been arrested three days prior to her death during a routine traffic stop. Her demise has been ruled as a suicide, it is believed she hanged herself.

Sandra’s death has brought national attention, her family says her arrest was unnecessary and a new video released yesterday allegedly offers prove of that.

Sharon has been making public appearances and recently told reporters during a news conference speaking in behalf of her family

“”I’m infuriated and everybody else should be infuriated,”

Sharon’s 28-year-old sister was found dead on Monday , local authorities in Texas say Bland killed herself, but her family and friends don’t believe that is the case, and suspects that the true cause of her death is being covered up.

Sharon told CNN’s “Erin Burnett OutFront.” “I have a hard time dealing with inconsistency and that seems to have been the theme over the last couple of days here,”

A dash cam video shows Texas state Trooper Brian Encinia pulling Bland over on July 10 for allegedly failing to use her turn signal.

In the video, Encinia tells Bland she is under arrest. She repeatedly asks why, but the trooper does not answer, other than to say, “I am giving you a lawful order.”

After an argue Encinia is seen pointing his taser to Bland, yelling at her “Get out of the car! I will light you up! Get out! Now!”

Bland then exits the car, saying: “Wow, really, for a failure to signal? You’re doing all of this for a failure to signal?”

Though what happens next cant be seen, the officer can be heard saying Bland is not compliant.

“When you pull away from me, you’re resisting arrest,” Encinia says.

A clearly upset Bland can be heard saying: “You’re a real man now. You just slammed me, knocked my head in the ground. I got epilepsy you mother******.”

“Good,” he replies.

Cooper said of her younger sister after watching the video: “I simply feel the officer was picking on her,”

Sharon and a family lawyer said the possibility of a lawsuit has not been ruled out. Her sister had no reason to be depressed but she allegedly tried in the past to commit suicide by taking pills.

The family who is preparing for her funeral is awaiting for further examination of her sister’s body is concluded.
