Lisa Sheridan, the actress and photographer known for her work on TV –has been found dead, she was 44-years-old.



Sheridan, reportedly passed away Monday February 25th, at home, in her apartment in New Orleans. It was first reported that she committed suicide but her family denied it.

Close friends such as Michael Dunaway have paid tribute to Lisa on social media. His post in particular hints that the 44-year-old actress suffered from ‘dark moments’ in recent years.

Lisa was born December 5, 1974; the Macon, Georgia native attended the Carnegie Mellon School of Drama before embarking on a 20-year acting career.

Sheridan’s dozens of credits included a regular role in the 2005 ABC sci-fi series “Invasion” and the AMC series “Halt and Catch Fire” in 2014. More recently, she landed multiple guest spots on the CMT comedy “Still the King” in 2016.

She also appeared on “CSI: Miami” “The Mentalist,” “The 4400,” “Saving Grace,” “Private Practice” and “Scandal,” among other hit TV shows. Her film work includes, Strange Nature, A Magic Christmas, Working Miracles and Only God Can –alongside close friend and Baywatch actress, Donna D’Errico.

It is not clear if she was married or if she was in a romantic relationship at the time of her death. Lisa however, was once engaged to actor, Ron Livingston. She and Livingston, who played Berger in *** and the City, started dating in 2000 and quickly became engaged before splitting up in 2003. The two had met while shooting the 2000 film “Beat.”

The dark-haired beauty was the private type, on her social media she didn’t share nothing too personal, and instead she often posted about random things she saw or just the landscape. One of her posts believed to commemorate her birthday reads, “another spin around The Sun and what a whirl it was, glad to be alive”
