Janna Ryan is the wife of Rep. Paul Ryan, the 54th Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, since 2015. Paul Ryan attended Joseph A. Craig High School in Janesville and earned a degree in economics and political science from Miami University in Ohio.



Paul, who is serving his ninth term as a member of Congress, is the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, where he focuses on many issues across the federal government, such as fixing our broken tax code, holding the IRS accountable, strengthening Medicare and Social Security, among others. He’s also served as chairman of the House Budget Committee.

The First Congressional District advocate has been married to wife Janna Ryan since 2000.

Janna Ryan and her husband are the proud parents of three children. Mrs. Ryan is the mother of daughter Liza and sons Charlie and Sam. Janna Ryan and her family resides in Janesville.

According to info online, 46-year-old Janna Ryan was born Janna Christine Little, she has worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, the House Budget Committee, METLIFE.

She is the daughter of Dan and Prudence Little. Her parents oversaw gas and mineral rights in the Red River area. They inherited  Janna Ryan with a $6.5 million trust, as reported by the L.A. Times.

Janna Ryan followed her parent’s footsteps, becoming a tax attorney by profession. The mom of three and Oklahoma native graduated from Wellesley College and George Washington University Law School. Janna Ryan’s mother, Prudence Mae Little, died of advanced melanoma in 2010.

Janna Ryan met Paul at age 30. At the time, she was already a successful figure, she was a champion of liberal causes. Those closest to the couple, wouldn’t have imagined them together, but for the tax attorney with the Democratic background and the Republican Congressman it turns out to be a perfect match.

It must have been love, as the song goes. Janna gave up her lobbyist career in Washington so she could be a wife and mother in Janesville, Wisconsin. Janna Ryan has sure been her hubby’s greatest supporter, she came close to become First Lady in 2012 when Paul Ryan was Mitt Romney’s vice presidential running partner.

Nowadays, Janna Ryan focuses on her family, she’s a stay at home mom.
