William Hay is the husband of TV and film actress, Denise DuBarry –who died aged 63 earlier this week.



William’s longtime wife is said to have died from a rare fungus infection. The 63-year-old blonde was being treated at the UCLA Medical Center and was battling a deadly fungus infection.

She is survived by husband, Williams Hay and four children.

Denise was born March 6, 1956; the Texas native made a name for herself in the acting industry and made a greater mark in business, co-founding Thane International.

Denise had roles in shows like “Black Sheep Squadron” and “CHiPs.” She also appeared in the Oscar-winning film “Being There” In addition, she was also known in the business as the co-founder of one of the leading global direct response companies, Thane International.

In 1998, she was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and in 2000 Response Magazine included her in its list of the “21 People Leading Us Into the 21st Century.”

DuBarry Hay also served as a philanthropist involved in the Olive Crest nonprofit for abused and at-risk children.

William Hay who also goes by Bill Hay, was her second husband. Denise first married actor, Gary Lockwood –from 1982 until their 1988 divorce.

Four years later, in 1992, she and William Hay tied the knot. The couple worked together at Thane International –which they founded in La Quinta.

The couple and business partners built Thane International into a successful global firm.

William Hay holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science and a Master in Business Administration from Queens University. According to Bloomberg, he previously worked with the entertainment recruiting company Korn Ferry International and also served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of W.F. Hay and Company. He has been the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Thane International since its inception in 1990.

Bill Hay and Denise had four children together Adam, Samantha, Kyle and Whitney.
