This lovely lady is Helen Wray; she is the wife of Christopher A. Wray. Mr. Wray who has worked in the Justice Department during President Bush’s term has been chosen by President Trump to be the next director of the FBI.



Helen’s husband Christopher Asher Wray is the son of Gilda Wray a program officer for the Charles Hayden Foundation and Mr. Cecil Wray Jr., a partner at the Debevoise & Plimpton law firm.

He studied at Phillips Academy; subsequently graduated cum laude from Yale University in 1989 and received his law degree in 1992 at Yale Law School.

He first worked as an assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Georgia.

In 1997, became an associate deputy attorney general and principal associate deputy attorney general for the Justice Department in 2001; two years later was nominated as assistant attorney general in charge of the Criminal Division of the Justice Department by President George W. Bush.

Mr. Wray worked under James Comey as an assistant attorney general until 2005; he oversaw the fraud investigations, one of the most prominent was Enron.

In 2005, became a litigation partner for King & Spalding’s offices in Atlanta and Washington.

Helen Wray was born Helen Garrison Howell; she is the daughter of Henry and Stephanie Howell, ages 79 and 78 respectively.

She graduated Westminster School and in 1989 from Yale University. Mrs. Wray worked as a business manager of The Yale Daily News.

She married Christopher Wray on August 12, 1989, at the Episcopal Cathedral of St. Philip in New York. The Wray have two children; Caroline, 22, and son, Trip, 20.
