Meet Charlotte Renee Roy

Charlotte Renee Roy is the mother of a Star Wars fan named as 18-year-old Arthur Charles Roy. Her son, was arrested after he threatened a social media friend for spoiling plot of Star Wars!



According to prosecutors, Roy became mad on Thursday after he learned details about Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Roy found out about the movie though a posting from a Facebook friend.

The aggravated teen, threatened to shoot his Facebook pal. Court records say, he sent the friend a picture of himself with a gun and threatened to come to his school to shoot him. Roy added, the gun was a Colt 1911 with a ‘hair trigger’.

But according to Roy’s mother, the gun her son is holding in the photo, is just a BB gun. Reason why she asked authorities why her son was being arrested.

According to Charlotte Renee Roy’s Facebook, she is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Private Caregiver and Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Touchmark on Saddle Drive Retirement Community.

The friend immediately called a school resource officer Thursday afternoon to report the threat. Arthur Charles Roy, of Helena, was charged with felony assault with a weapon on Monday during an appearance in Lewis and Clark County Justice Court. He remains jailed with his bail set at $10,000.
But that’s not Roy’s only problem. According to the Billings Gazette, he also has a pending charge of felony sexual intercourse without consent for an alleged incident in October with a 14-year-old girl.

According to the Daily Mail, Roy said in his defense, he thought the girl was between 15 and 17 years old but the girl’s father told investigators that Roy knew his daughter’s age.

According to Metro, he’s expected in court for a preliminary hearing on January 15, although there’s a chance his case could be moved to district court before then.

An old Facebook profile, shows many other scary photos of a younger Arthur Charles Roy making gang sings and images of knives can also be found.

If found guilty, the Montana resident could face up to 20 years in prison.
